Semi-classical Approaches to Quantum Gravity and String Theory Solitons

2009
This dissertation explores several approaches to quantum gravity, all of them adding some quantum features to an otherwise classical theory. The first part is about black holes and cosmological horizons. The latter are investigated using an approach to noncommutative geometry in which the isometry Lie algebra is deformed to a quantum group.

Acceleration-Field Theory: Classical Tests, Quantum Gravity, and Cosmology

This paper is a follow-up to the original work on Acceleration-Field Theory (AFT), which reformulates General Relativity (GR) by replacing curved spacetime with dynamic acceleration fields evolving over a flat Minkowski background. It derives four classical GR phenomena—light deflection, perihelion advance, frame-dragging, and gravitational waves—using
