Shellac, a centuries‐old natural resin, is reimagined as a green material for flexible electronics. When combined with silver nanowires, shellac films deliver transparency, conductivity, and stability against humidity. These results position shellac as a sustainable alternative to synthetic polymers for transparent conductors in next‐generation ...

A study of energy scavenging strategy in a tapping tree power [PDF]
Energy harvesting has become one of the newest research attraction for both academic and industry fields. The energy is captured from external sources (thermal, wind, solar, vibration and hydrodynamic) and the energy source for energy harvesters is ...

Classification of Time–Frequency Maps of Guided Waves Using Foreground Extraction
Guided waves propagating in mechanical structures have proved to be an essential technique for applications, such as structural health monitoring. However, it is a well-known problem that when using non-stationary guided wave signals, dispersion, and ...

Implementation of Drug‐Induced Rhabdomyolysis and Acute Kidney Injury in Microphysiological System
A modular Muscle–Kidney proximal tubule‐on‐a‐chip integrates 3D skeletal muscle and renal proximal tubule tissues to model drug‐induced rhabdomyolysis and acute kidney injury. The coculture system enables dynamic tissue interaction, functional contraction monitoring, and quantification of nephrotoxicity, revealing drug side effect‐induced metabolic ...

The Cosmological Models with Jump Discontinuities
The article is dedicated to one of the most undeservedly overlooked properties of the cosmological models: the behaviour at, near and due to a jump discontinuity.

Classification of irregular free boundary points for non-divergence type equations with discontinuous coefficients [PDF]
We provide an integral estimate for a non-divergence (non-variational) form second order elliptic equation $a_{ij}u_{ij}=u^p$, $u\ge 0$, $p\in[0, 1)$, with bounded discontinuous coefficients $a_{ij}$ having small BMO norm. We consider the simplest discontinuity of the form~$x\otimes x|x|^{-2}$ at the origin.

Non‐covalent protein–protein interactions mediated by SH3, PDZ, or GBD domains enable the self‐assembly of stable and biocatalytically active hydrogel materials. These soft materials can be processed into monodisperse foams that, once dried, exhibit enhanced mechanical stability and activity and are easily integrated into microstructured flow ...

This study investigates electromechanical PUFs that improve on traditional electric PUFs. The electron transport materials are coated randomly through selective ligand exchange. It produces multiple keys and a key with motion dependent on percolation and strain, and approaches almost ideal inter‐ and intra‐hamming distances.

Axiomatic Interpretability for Multiclass Additive Models
Generalized additive models (GAMs) are favored in many regression and binary classification problems because they are able to fit complex, nonlinear functions while still remaining interpretable.
