Soft Colloidal Robots: Magnetically Guided Liquid Crystal Torons for Targeted Micro‐Cargo Delivery
Torons, topological quasiparticles in liquid crystals, can be propelled using electric fields and precisely steered with magnetic alignment, enabling programmable motion without fluid flow. In microfluidic channels, they transport colloidal cargo and exhibit novel dynamic behavior. Their uniformity, softness, and reconfigurability make torons ideal for

One‐Year Effectiveness of Upadacitinib in Perianal Crohn's Disease: A Real‐World GETAID Study
In a real‐world cohort of patients with highly refractory perianal Crohn's disease, upadacitinib induced clinical remission at 12 months in 26% of patients with fistulizing disease and 25% of those with isolated anal ulcerations. ABSTRACT Introduction Upadacitinib (UPA) is effective for treating luminal Crohn's disease (CD), but data on perianal CD ...

Summary Germline gain‐of‐function variants in sterile alpha motif domain–containing 9‐like (SAMD9L), located on chromosome 7q, cause a multisystem disorder characterized by bone marrow failure, immunodeficiency and variable neurological involvement. Disease evolution is frequently shaped by somatic genetic rescue (SGR), most commonly through monosomy 7,

Vegetation Increases CH4 Emissions and Methanotroph Diversity in Marine Sediments
Seagrass meadows enhance carbon burial but also increase methane (CH4) emissions from marine sediments. The presence of seagrass modifies sediment properties, creating carbon‐rich environments characterized by higher carbon accumulation and CO2 fluxes, which stimulate CH4 production and lead to higher emissions.

Abstract Objectives/Background There is growing evidence that migraine is associated with attentional abnormalities, both during and between attacks, potentially affecting the cognitive processing of sensory stimulation. However, the underlying neurophysiological mechanism remains poorly understood.

ABSTRACT Background & Aims Liver transplantation (LT) is indicated for liver complications related to hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection: acute liver failure (ALF), decompensated cirrhosis or hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The present study aimed to describe and evaluate patient survival after LT for HBV‐related disease in France and identify the ...

ABSTRACT Given the risk of antibody‐mediated rejection, most kidney graft allocation systems define unacceptable antigens to prevent transplantation in the presence of donor‐specific antibodies. Anti‐HLA‐C and anti‐HLA‐DP antibodies are often not included in these algorithms, including the French allocation system, despite growing evidence supporting ...
