Renal Adverse Events Associated With Ibuprofen Treatment After Hip and Knee Arthroplasties—A Protocol for the Preplanned Substudy of the PERISAFE Trial

open access: yesActa Anaesthesiologica Scandinavica, Volume 70, Issue 4, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Introduction Non‐steroidal anti‐inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are commonly used for postoperative pain management after hip and knee arthroplasties but have been associated with renal adverse effects. Exploratory Analysis of Liraglutide Effects on Obstructive Sleep Apnea and Health‐Related Quality of Life in Individuals With Obesity and COPD: A Secondary Analysis of a Randomised Controlled Trial

open access: yesClinical Obesity, Volume 16, Issue 2, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is associated with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and obesity, and all three are linked to reduced health‐related quality of life (HRQoL). Coexistence of OSA and COPD increases morbidity and mortality compared to each condition alone.

Mathematical Modelling and Simulation of Adsorptive Moving Bed Reactor for Claus Process

open access: yesIOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science, 2019
Abstract Fixed bed reactors are widely used in desulfurization processes. However, this kind of reactors has an obvious disadvantage leading to discontinuous operation that the catalysts and adsorbents must be regenerated periodically.

How Scientific Is Nursing? Answers From A New Characterization of Science

open access: yesNursing Philosophy, Volume 27, Issue 2, April 2026.
ABSTRACT In the last few decades, nursing scholars have drawn on philosophy to establish the scientific status of nursing. Accordingly, the application of such accounts to nursing has led to dubious results.
