Ecosystem‐Centered Robot Design: Toward Ecoresorbable Sustainability Robots (ESRs)
Robots exploring natural ecosystems can support monitoring and conservation, but must adopt ecosystem‐centered design to avoid pollution, waste, and damage. This review proposes guidelines for co‐designing ecoresorbable sustainability robots (ESRs), uniting materials, robotics, and ecological contexts in a single framework.

Clays, Clay Minerals, and Pesticides
Design and test of clay-based formulations of pesticides for solving environmental and economical problems are described. Organoclays were mainly designed to promote the adsorption of neutral and hydrophobic pesticides and slow their release. Adsorption of organic cations modifies the nature of the clay mineral surface, transforming it from hydrophilic

The spectroscopic, chemical, and photophysical properties of Martian soils and their analogs (MERC, phase 2) [PDF]
A series of variably proportioned iron/calcium smectite clays and iron loaded smectite clays containing iron up to the level found in the Martian soil were prepared from a typical montomorillonite clay using the Banin method.

Stress‐Induced Melting Controlled Failure Mechanisms of Methane Hydrate
We study methane hydrate via nanoindentation and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), finding its regional melting and mechanical properties, challenging existing views on hydrogen‐bonded crystals. Abstract Methane hydrate, a kind of nonstoichiometric crystalline, attracted worldwide attentions as a promising substitute energy. Its Dissociation is thought
