Simultaneous Detection of Missing Amphibians and Their Fungal Pathogen in a Biodiversity Hotspot Using eDNA. [PDF]

open access: yesMol Ecol
ABSTRACT Since the 1970s, striking amphibian declines in population abundances and presumed extinctions have been recorded globally. The chytrid fungus Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis (Bd) is one of the key drivers of these declines. To investigate the potential role of Bd in the decline of Brazil's amphibians, we first used eDNA metabarcoding to survey

Novel comprehensive feedback theory—Part I: Generalization of the cut‐insertion theorem and demonstration of feedback universality

open access: yesInternational Journal of Circuit Theory and Applications, Volume 51, Issue 9, Page 3979-3993, September 2023., 2023
We present a generalization of the cut‐insertion theorem for the feedback analysis of an electrical network, in which a generic three‐terminal circuit is inserted into a cut of the feedback loop. This theorem allows to obtain all the circuit properties (gain, cut immittance, driving‐point immittances, etc.) using a set of superposition functions.
