Numerical classification of climate [PDF]
Abstract The present paper deals with a classification of the climate of Japan for setting up climatic regions as a basis of classification of alluvial soils. By definition alluvial soils are those which have undergone little change under the influences of pedogenetlc processes.

Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) with metals have been recognized as versatile platforms for photocatalytic CO2 reduction (CO2PRR). Herein, an overview of metal integration strategies for COFs is systematically summarized. Regulatory mechanisms and structure–activity relationships between metal integration and COF‐based CO2PRR are emphasized.

Problems of Climatic Classification
A critical review is made of climatic classifications appearing since 1956, bringing up to date the review of older classifications undertaken by Prof. Taiji YAZAWA. The author mentions that : 1) Determination of the boundaries of climatic regions either by classic or modern climatology is not yet sufficiently rational.

Why we need the concept of land-grab-induced displacement [PDF]
This paper challenges the traditional threefold classification of forced migration, and proposes a new concept: land-grab-induced displacement. The concept sheds light on issues that are shrouded by the conventional typology.
