Ultra‐Sensitive Nanofiber‐Based Triboelectric Nanogenerator for Energy Harvesting and Self‐Powered Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A multidimensional molecular strategy optimizes the tribonegative layer by electrospinning PVDF‐HFP for dipole alignment and crystallinity, followed by 2D borophene doping to enhance conductivity and charge trapping. Integrated with Nylon‐66 nanofibers, the composite device delivers a record sensitivity of 53.8 ± 1.2 V kPa−1 at 3 Hz, enabling ultra ...

Specificity of herbivore‐induced responses in an invasive species, Alternanthera philoxeroides (alligator weed)

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, 2018
Herbivory‐induced responses in plants can both negatively affect subsequently colonizing herbivores and mitigate the effect of herbivory on the host. However, it is still less known whether plants exhibit specific responses to specialist and generalist ...

Multi‐Material Gradient Printing Using Meniscus‐enabled Projection Stereolithography (MAPS)

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, Volume 10, Issue 6, March 18, 2025.
MAPS is a new vat‐free printing technique that utilizes programmed delivery of resin droplets with custom formulations to enable multi‐material gradient printing of 3D structures with user‐defined variations in mechanical stiffness, opacity, surface energy, cell densities, and magnetic properties. Abstract Light‐based additive manufacturing methods are

Advanced Mounting Technique for Improved Imaging and Analysis of Embedded Spheroids and Migrating Cells in Light Sheet Fluorescence Microscopy

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A novel sample holder compatible with the Zeiss Lightsheet 7 microscope improves imaging of spheroids embedded in collagen matrices. By enabling dual‐sided illumination, it enhances image quality and quantitative analysis of migrating cells. This method advances 3D light sheet microscopy for studying tumor invasion and therapeutic responses.

Exclusion of the anterior communicating artery with endovascular flow diverters – A possible treatment method of a wide-necked aneurysm

open access: yesInterdisciplinary Neurosurgery
Introduction: We describe a case of a patient with severe subarachnoid hemorrhage from the rupture of difficult-to-treat morphology, a suspected partially thrombosed anterior communicating artery aneurysm. Case presentation: The patient was admitted with

Carbon Stars and other Luminous Stellar Populations in M33

open access: yes, 2004
The M33 galaxy is a nearby, relatively metal-poor, late-type spiral. Its proximity and almost face-on inclination means that it projects over a large area on the sky, making it an ideal candidate for wide-field CCD mosaic imaging. Photometry was obtained

Assessment of morphology and hemodynamics in a surgically clipped neck of a cerebral aneurysm: illustrative case

open access: yesJournal of Neurosurgery: Case Lessons
BACKGROUND Silent magnetic resonance angiography reduces metal artifacts, enabling clear visualization of the clipped neck following surgical clipping of cerebral aneurysms. This study aimed to delineate the morphology of the clipped neck complex in cerebral aneurysms using three-dimensional (3D) multifusion ...
