Comparisons of a Clon of Plasmodium Cathemerium with its Parent Strain and with Two Strains Derived from the Clon by Mosquito Transmission

Journal of Infectious Diseases, 1941
Analysis of species and sub-specific groups of malarial parasites is essential to the solution of many of the remaining problems in malariology. Foremost in importance among these problems is the question of the constancy of strains, especially following transmission by mosquitoes.

CLON

Proceedings of the Third Workshop on Dependable Distributed Data Management, 2009
Gossip-based protocols have been gaining an increasing interest from the research community due to the high resilience to node churn and high scalability, thus making them suitable to modern large-scale dynamic systems. Unfortunately, these properties come at the cost of redundant message transmissions to ensure bimodal delivery to all interested peers.

Clon y clonación

Terminology. International Journal of Theoretical and Applied Issues in Specialized Communication, 2000
This paper aims to provide empirical evidence about concept diversity in the life sciences in relation to levels of text specialization. This paper deals with the terms clone and cloning in science popularization texts about mammals cloning. Texts are in Spanish, were published in scientific journals in Argentina, and show different specialization ...

Determining clonning templates of CNN via moga: Edge detection

2011 IEEE 19th Signal Processing and Communications Applications Conference (SIU), 2011
Recent scientific and technological developments allow a dynamical evaluation method, named Cellular Neural Networks (CNNs), and enable to use it in various areas mostly in image processing. It seems to be an optimization problem to determine the cloning templates as network parameters that obtain the desired output in CNNs.

Spur pruning and yield structure of the Syrah variety (clon 99)

Agricultural Sciences
The experiment was conducted during the period 2024-2025 with the red wine grape variety Syrah (clone 99) grown under non-irrigated conditions. Two spur pruning approaches with different bud loads were compared – 5 spurs with two buds each (a total of 10 buds) and 8 spurs with two buds each (a total of 16 buds).
