TONSL Promotes Hepatocellular Carcinoma Progression by Inhibiting Apoptosis Through Homologous Recombination Repair

open access: yesCancer Science, EarlyView.
In hepatocellular carcinoma, the 8q24.3 locus is frequently amplified and is associated with tumor‐specific overexpression of TONSL. TONSL promotes homologous recombination repair through RAD51, limits γH2AX accumulation and apoptosis, supports tumor growth, and its loss increases sensitivity to poly (ADP‐ribose) polymerase (PARP) inhibition.

Multi‐Spectral Gaussian Splatting with Neural Color Representation

open access: yesComputer Graphics Forum, EarlyView.
Abstract 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) [KKLD23] has transformed novel‐view synthesis from RGB images, yet remains restricted to the visible spectrum. Many applications, including agricultural monitoring, rely on multi‐spectral imaging, where spectral camera alignment and scalability pose major challenges.

Age‐specific melanoma risk associated with nevi: a pooled analysis from the M‐SKIP project

open access: yesJDDG: Journal der Deutschen Dermatologischen Gesellschaft, EarlyView.
Summary Objective This study investigates the association of melanoma risk with total‐body nevus count and the presence of atypical nevi in younger (< 40 years) and older (> 60 years) individuals. Methods A pooled analysis was conducted within the M‐SKIP project, based on multiple melanoma case‐control studies.

Semiological features of epilepsy seizures and paroxysmal non‐epileptic events in children: A systematic review and meta‐analysis

open access: yesDevelopmental Medicine &Child Neurology, EarlyView.
Pediatric paroxysmal non‐epileptic events (PNEs) are frequently misdiagnosed as epilepsy. We systematically reviewed and synthesized 40 studies, including 3123 video‐EEG monitored pediatric patients. Epileptic seizures in infants (1 month–3 years) typically presented as arrest, while in children and adolescents (1 month–21 years) they manifested as ...

Colonization and extinction lags drive non‐linear responses to warming in mountain plant communities across the Northern Hemisphere

open access: yesEcography, EarlyView.
Global warming is changing plant communities due to the arrival of new species from warmer regions and declining abundance of cold‐adapted species. However, experimentally testing predictions about trajectories and rates of community change is challenging because we normally lack an expectation for future community composition, and most warming ...

First‐Line Treatment of IGHV‐Unmutated Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia: A Network Meta‐Analysis of Targeted and Chemoimmunotherapy Regimens

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Haematology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Immunoglobulin heavy chain variable region‐unmutated (IGHV‐U) chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) represents a biologically aggressive subgroup with limited responsiveness to chemoimmunotherapy (CIT). To clarify the comparative effectiveness of available frontline options, we conducted a comprehensive Bayesian network meta‐analysis of ...
