Study on Immune Clonal Algorithm and Its Application

open access: yes, 2009
The study introduces an immune clonal algorithm (ICA), which depends on Artificial Immune System principles, for traditional facility layout problems. The new algorithm through the introduction of clonal proliferation, super mutation operators and clonal

Metabolic Reprogramming in Glioblastoma Stem Cells Promotes Radiation Resistance Through a H3K18la/USP30/MBOAT2 Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
LDHA‐driven lactate production in mesenchymal glioma stem cells promotes p300‐dependent H3K18 lactylation, activates USP30 transcription, and stabilizes MBOAT2 to remodel phosphatidylethanolamines toward ferroptosis‐resistant PE‐MUFA species. Disrupting this metabolic–epigenetic–lipid circuit enhances ferroptosis and sensitizes glioblastoma to ...

Blood Cell‐Camouflaged Liquid Metal Nanoconjugates Orchestrate Treg Depletion and STING‐Amplified Photothermal Immunity for Metastatic Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Whole‐blood biomimetic engineering transforms liquid metal nanoparticles into a tripartite immunotherapeutic platform that orchestrates regulatory T‐cell depletion, photothermal‐induced immunogenic cell death, and activation of the stimulator of interferon genes pathway.

The PERPETUAL FLOWERING locus: Necessary but insufficient for genomic prediction of runnerless and other asexual reproduction phenotypes in strawberry

open access: yesThe Plant Genome
Strawberry (Fragaria × ananassa) reproduces sexually through seeds and asexually through stolons. The ability to cost‐effectively clonally propagate hybrid individuals on a large scale has shaped strawberry breeding and production practices.

A Small‐Molecule DEPTAC Rescues Cognitive Deficits by Targeted Dephosphorylation of Pathological Tau

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
TP2 is a fully synthetic small‐molecule dephosphorylation‐targeting chimera that recruits endogenous PP2A‐Bα to Tau, enabling targeted removal of pathological phosphate modifications. In two tauopathy mouse models, systemic TP2 reduces Tau pathology, preserves neuronal and synaptic integrity, improves neuroimmune homeostasis, and rescues cognition ...

The Landscape of Long Non‐Coding RNAs Provides Insights Into the Domestication and Improvement of Pear Fruit

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reveals that long non‐coding RNAs represent important regulatory components underlying pear domestication and improvement. Integrative multi‐omics analyses identify selected lncRNAs associated with fruit traits, while functional validation uncovers a lignin‐related lncRNA, lncRNA‐pys, that promotes lignin accumulation.

The effects of clonal heterogeneity and its role in stress tolerance of industrial yeast strains

open access: yes, 2019
Yeast has played an important role in human cultures since their ancient domestication, and their biochemical versatility, tolerance of different stress factors, and the ease of traditional and later molecular strain improvement strategies have only ...
