Objective Glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)‐anchored proteins play critical roles in nervous system function. Pathogenic variants in genes involved in GPI‐anchor biosynthesis cause early‐onset multisystem disorders known as inherited GPI deficiencies. We describe a novel neuromuscular phenotype associated with PIGB deficiency.

Testing for clonal propagation [PDF]
The conceptual basis for testing clonal propagation is reconsidered with the result that two steps need to be distinguished clearly: (1) specification of the characteristics of multilocus genotype frequencies that result from sexual reproduction together with the kinds of deviations from these characteristics that are produced by clonal propagation ...

TOWARDS THE CLONAL PROPAGATION OF COCONUT
Acta Horticulturae, 2002Past studies from our laboratory have shown that whole immature, or mature sliced, zygotic embryos are a very good starting explant for coconut somatic embryogenesis. The highest rate of somatic embryogenesis was obtained when certain polyamines were added into the culture medium as well as activated charcoal (AC) to absorb unwanted phenolics.

Clonal propagation of Cephaelis ipecacuanha
Plant Cell Reports, 1988Shoot cultures of Cephaelis ipecacuanha A. Richard were established by using shoot tips as initial explants. Multiple shoots were obtained from node segments upon culture on B5 medium supplemented with NAA-BA (0.01-3, 5 mg/l). These shoots were rooted on B5 and 1/2 MS media containing IAA or NAA, and the regenerated plants were transferred to soil and ...
