In vitro clonal propagation of Fuchsia magellanica Lam.
Fuchsia magellanica Lam. is a famous ornamental plant which is rarely found in Pakistan. Its beauty and uniqueness made it an important candidate for tissue culture studies especially for regeneration and multiplication purposes. Here, for the very first

An artificial bifunctional N‐deacetylase/N‐sulfotransferase was engineered in Escherichia coli by combining screened N‐deacetylases with an NST domain. The integrated engineering strategy improved enzyme performance. The optimized enzyme efficiently converted heparosan into N‐sulfated heparosan, addressing a key bottleneck in microbial heparin ...

In nephroblastoma, aberrant glycolysis drives lactate accumulation, which elevates histone H3K18 lactylation via p300. Lactylation of the PSRC1 promoter activates its transcription. PSRC1 competitively binds AKT, relieving PTEN‐mediated inhibition and triggering AKT/mTOR/HIF‐1α signaling.

In vitro Mass Clonal Propagation of Spathoglottis plicata Blume
For in vitro clonal propagation of Spathoglottis plicata Blume nodal segments of young shoots were cultured on half strength of MS with 2% sucrose + 2.0 mg/l BA + 0.5 mg/l NAA + 2 g/l peptone + 15% (v/v) CW + 0.5 g/l AC, incubated at 24 ± 2ºC under ...

A cytokinin pathway transcription factor, RR2b, was artificially selected during soybean domestication and improvement based on its differential transcriptional activity, which correlates with ATT repeat polymorphisms in its promoter. RR2b balances yield and defense by fine‐tuning its expression level and offers a promising target for decoupling trade ...

Gap‐Free Information Transfer in 4D‐STEM via Fusion of Complementary Scattering Channels
Fused Full‐Field STEM (FF‐STEM) is introduced as a 4D‐STEM imaging modality that combines direct ptychography with tilt‐corrected dark‐field reconstruction in a single acquisition. Fourier‐space fusion using Wiener‐type spectral weighting closes the low‐frequency contrast gap inherent to bright‐field methods, delivering gap‐free, dose‐efficient, near ...

Unravelling the clonal trait space: Beyond above-ground and fine-root traits
Plant trait variation is constrained by mechanical and energetic trade-offs as attested by the global spectrum of plant form and function and the fine-root economics space for above- and below-ground traits.

Photosensitive and conventional shading nets in the clonal propagation of hybrids of Eucalyptus spp. and the Corymbia spp. [PDF]

Subversion of Atypical Mucin Traps by a Spore‐Coat Effector Blocks Cellular Immunity in Drosophila
While the entomopathogenic fungus Metarhizium robertsii can evade insect humoral immunity, its subversion of cellular defenses is still elusive. We identify Eac1 as a spore‐coat protein essential for infecting drosophilids by targeting atypical mucins (Sgf1 and Sgf2), which can entrap spores in a gel matrix and thereby facilitate hemocyte encapsulation.
