From Droplet to Diagnosis: Spatio‐Temporal Pattern Recognition in Drying Biofluids

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
This article integrates machine learning (ML) with the spatio‐temporal evolution of biofluid droplets to reveal how drying and self‐assembly encode distinctive compositional fingerprints. By leveraging textural features and interpretable ML, it achieves robust classification of blood abnormalities with over 95% accuracy.

Adherence to the Mediterranean and Mediterranean‐Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension Intervention for Neurodegenerative Delay (MIND) Diets and Parkinson's Disease Incidence in Women: Results from the Prospective E3N Cohort

open access: yesAnnals of Neurology, EarlyView.
Objective The evidence regarding adherence to dietary patterns and Parkinson's disease (PD) risk is inconsistent. Because of the long prodromal PD phase, reverse causation represents a major threat to investigations of diet in relation to PD. We examined whether adherence to the Mediterranean (MED) and Mediterranean‐Dietary Approaches to Stop ...

Phosphate Removal by ZIF‐8 and Magnetic Fe3O4/ZIF‐8: A Comparative Study of Capacity, Kinetics, and Regeneration

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study presents a comparative evaluation of phosphate adsorption on pristine ZIF‐8 and Fe3O4‐doped ZIF‐8 (Fe3O4/ZIF‐8), a hybrid adsorbent combining high surface area with magnetic separability. Structural integrity and composition were confirmed using SEM, XRD, FTIR, and XPS.

Adsorption Desulfurization of Liquid Fuel Using a Blend of Date Stones and Walnut Shells by Box–Behnken Design

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT A specific microporous KOH/activated‐biochar (K/BC) was produced from a blend of date stones (DS) and walnut shells (WS) and used in the adsorptive desulfurization (ADS) of two types of model fuel DBT/n‐hexane (S‐hex), DBT/cyclohexane (S‐cyclohex).
