Metodología para el estudio de la clorita en rocas metamórficas
8 páginas, 6 figuras, 5 tablas [EN] A methodology based on microscopio and X-ray diffraction studies is proposed, for the cases where the grain size of chlorites do not make available the use of other methods. ALBEE’s scheme is completed with the definition of ten optic chlorite types, which permit an approach to the Fe content.

11 páginas, 6 figuras, 2 tablas [EN] An empirical method, based on the variation of the ratios between the structure factors of the 004/003 and 004/005 basal reflexions, is proposed. This method takes into account not only presence of heavy atoms but also the chlorite di-trioctahedric character.

Chlorites in metamorphic rocks of the Silgará Formation that crop out in the southwestern region of the Santander Massif (Chicamocha Canyon) registre formation temperatures between 180 and 355°C. The maximun temperatures of formation of this hydrated mineral phase (up to 355°C) correspond to the highergrade metamorphic zone (staurolite ...

Three thermal anomalies have been recognized in the Cameros Basin using the chlorite geotermometry. An aureole of about 150Km2, located in the central part of the basin, and another of about 10 Km2 to the NW of the same one, have registered maximum temperatures of 370ºC and 310ºC, respectively.

Las cloritas de las Cordilleras Béticas (España). Su composición y factores que la determinan
9 páginas, 9 figuras, 8 tablas [EN] Data about chemical and structural parameters, measured by X-ray diffraction, of metapelitic chlorites belonging to a low grade and retrograde metamorphism are given. Microprobe analyses of metabasite chlorites, from the greenschists and amphibolites facies (s.l.) are also shown.

Las cloritas de los cuerpos pegmatíticos del plutón de La Cabrera (Sistema Central Español)
The chlorites included within the pegmatitic bodies of the La Cabrera pluton (Spanish Central System) have been studied in order to stablish their characterization, clasification and relationship with other minerals. Two different chlorite types have been recognized: a) Fe-Mg chlorites (intermediate terms between clinoclore an chamosite), asociated ...
