New Hermite–Hadamard and Ostrowski-Type Inequalities for Newly Introduced Co-Ordinated Convexity with Respect to a Pair of Functions

open access: yesMathematics, 2022
In both pure and applied mathematics, convex functions are used in many different problems. They are crucial to investigate both linear and non-linear programming issues. Since a convex function is one whose epigraph is a convex set, the theory of convex

Adaptable Tile‐Based Pneumatic Origami through Structurally Coupled Localized Actuation

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This article presents tile‐based pneumatic origami structures with rigid tiles and flexible fabric creases, achieving adaptable properties including morphing shape, selective multistability, and tunable stiffness. Independently pressurized folding bladders at each crease enable structurally coupled localized actuation of origami structures.

Convolution Properties of Classes of Analytic and Meromorphic Functions

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2010
General classes of analytic functions defined by convolution with a fixed analytic function are introduced. Convolution properties of these classes which include the classical classes of starlike, convex, close-to-convex, and quasiconvex analytic ...

Coefficients estimates of some subclasses of analytic functions related with conic domain

open access: yesAnalele Stiintifice ale Universitatii Ovidius Constanta: Seria Matematica, 2013
In this paper, the authors determine the coefficient bounds for functions in certain subclasses of analytic functions related with the conic regions, which are introduced by using the concept of bounded boundary and bounded radius rotations.

Microporous Microgel Assemblies Facilitating the Recruitment and Osteogenic Differentiation of Progenitor Cells for Bone Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
There is a significant need for biomaterials with well‐defined stability and bioactivity to support tissue regeneration. In this study, we developed a tunable microgel platform that enables the decoupling of stiffness from porosity, thereby promoting bone regeneration.

Analytic function classes defined by Mittag–Leffler inspired Poisson-type series

open access: yesAlexandria Engineering Journal
In this article, we introduce new subclass SMα,β,λm(γ) of univalent functions based on Mittag-Leffler function related to the distribution series within the unit disc U={ζ∈C:|ζ|

Certain Class of Analytic Functions Connected with q-Analogue of the Bessel Function

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2021
The focus of this article is the introduction of a new subclass of analytic functions involving q-analogue of the Bessel function and obtained coefficient inequities, growth and distortion properties, radii of close-to-convexity, and starlikeness, as ...

Non-Convex Phase Retrieval from STFT Measurements

open access: yes, 2017
The problem of recovering a one-dimensional signal from its Fourier transform magnitude, called Fourier phase retrieval, is ill-posed in most cases. We consider the closely-related problem of recovering a signal from its phaseless short-time Fourier ...

Curved Nanographene–Graphite Hybrid Anodes with Sequential Li+ Insertion for Fast‐Charging and Long‐Life Li‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A hybrid anode composed of Cl‐functionalized curved nanographene and graphite enables ultra‐fast charging and long cycle life through an engineered morphology and sequential Li+ insertion. It delivers 100 mAh g−1 at 5 C with 70% capacity retention after 1000 cycles and maintains stable performance over 2000 cycles in pouch cells, providing a practical ...

Solution of Optimal Power Flow Problems using Moment Relaxations Augmented with Objective Function Penalization

open access: yes, 2015
The optimal power flow (OPF) problem minimizes the operating cost of an electric power system. Applications of convex relaxation techniques to the non-convex OPF problem have been of recent interest, including work using the Lasserre hierarchy of "moment"
