Chiral d-wave superconductivity on the honeycomb lattice close to the Mott state [PDF]
We study superconductivity on the honeycomb lattice close to the Mott state at half filling. Due to the sixfold lattice symmetry and disjoint Fermi surfaces at opposite momenta, we show that several different fully gapped superconducting states naturally

Temperature dependence of heavy quark diffusion from 2+1 lattice QCD [PDF]
We present new lattice results for the heavy quark diffusion coefficient in 2+1 flavor QCD in the temperature range from 163 MeV up to 10 GeV. Compared to previous lattice calculations with unphysical light quark masses, we consider near-physical values ...

In Situ Micromechanical Study of Bimodal γ′–γ″ Precipitate Assemblies in Ni–Cr–Al–Nb Superalloy
A Ni–Cr–Al–Nb superalloy with a bimodal γ′–γ″ precipitate distribution is developed. Composite precipitate assemblies form through heterogeneous nucleation, effectively impeding dislocation motion. Micropillar compression reveals high strength at room and elevated temperatures, governed by precipitate shearing, with coupled faulting mechanisms ...

When is the volume of a convex polytope in R^n close to the number of lattice points in the polytope? We show that if the polytope contains a ball of radius nplog m, where m is the number of facets, then the volume approximates the number of lattice ...

Scandium (Sc)‐doped AlCoCrFeMo HEA coatings are fabricated via flame spraying with 0.1, 0.3, and 0.5 wt% Sc additions. Among these, the HEA‐Sc0.3 coating exhibits the highest corrosion resistance, indicated by a more positive corrosion potential and lower current density.

Hexagonal-Close-Packed Lattice: Phase Transition and Spin Transport [PDF]
8 pages, 12 figuresWe study the ground state (GS) and the phase transition in a hexagonal-close-packed lattice with both XY and Ising models by using extensive Monte Carlo simulation. We suppose the in-plane interaction $J_1$ and inter-plane interaction $

This review highlights advances in lightweight, lead‐free polymer nanocomposites for diagnostic X‐ray shielding. By linking filler chemistry, dispersion, architecture, and photon interaction mechanisms, it establishes structure–performance relationships guiding material design.

The lattice dynamics of hexagonal close packed metals. [PDF]
This thesis describes the theory of lattice dynamics in a generalised form. The theory is then applied more specifically to materials with hexagonal close-packed structure.
