Multivalued Fixed Point Results for New Generalized F-Dominated Contractive Mappings on Dislocated Metric Space with Application

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2018
The purpose of this paper is to find out fixed point results for semi-α⁎-dominated multivalued mappings fulfilling a new generalized locally F-dominated multivalued contractive condition on a closed ball in complete dislocated metric space.

Fluid Loss Isolation Valve Design and Sealing Performance Study

open access: yesShiyou jixie, 2016
In the operation of multistage fracturing, well completion, production and workover, leakage is often encountered and leads to formation damage due to the failure of tool.To address the issue, the high-pressure fluid-loss isolation valve has been developed ...

Quadratic closed $G_2$-structures

open access: yes, 2019
I will talk about a special class of closed $G_2$-structures, those satisfying the `quadratic' condition. This is a second order PDE system first written down by Bryant that can be interpreted as a condition on the Ricci curvature of the induced metric ...

Designing Strong, Tough, Fire‐Retardant and Self‐Healing Elastomers with Phosphorus/Nitrogen‐ and Biphenyl‐Containing Segments

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
By designing a P/N‐ and π–π interacting biphenyl‐containing diol as hard segments but side groups, a strong, tough, fire‐extinguishing and self‐healing elastomer is developed, demonstrating a break strain of ∼2500%, a toughness of 379 MJ/m3 and a tensile strength of 46 MPa, as well as a healing efficiency of 95% (tensile strength) and 99% (break strain)

On sup- and inf-attaining functionals

open access: yesOpen Mathematics
Reflexivity is characterized by the weak-compactness of the unit ball. The weak-compactness of bounded, closed, and convex sets is characterized through sup-attaining functionals in view of the famous James’ theorem.
