A Self‐Supervised Framework for Space Object Behaviour Characterisation
ABSTRACT Foundation Models, which leverage large neural networks pre‐trained on unlabelled data before fine‐tuning for specific tasks, are increasingly being applied to specialised domains. Recent examples include ClimaX for climate and Clay for satellite Earth observation, but a Foundation Model for Space Object Behavioural Analysis (SOBA) has not yet

Abstract We present a new 3D Hikurangi subduction interface model by using an implicit modeling approach that integrates seismic‐reflection profiles, relocated hypocenters, focal mechanism orientations, and tomographic interpretations. The model reveals along‐strike transitions in slow slip events (SSEs) that correlate with subduction interface ...

ABSTRACT Internalizing behaviors are characterized by inward‐focused emotional distress, which often manifests as symptoms such as depression, anxiety, and negative affect. Previous research has found that physiological correlates of heightened emotional arousal, such as phasic changes in overall frontal electroencephalogram (EEG) alpha activity (FAA ...

The 2025 Kamchatka Earthquake and Tsunami: Cascading Impacts and Risks to Japan
ABSTRACT On July 29th, 2025, a large earthquake (Mw 8.8) occurred near the Kamchatka Peninsula. This event caused a tsunami that reached Japan's Pacific coast, even though the source was far away. In this study, we analyze the characteristics of earthquakes and tsunamis and discuss how they relate to the recurrence possibility and risk in Japan.

ABSTRACT We perform probabilistic seismic hazard analysis (PSHA) in the Shillong Plateau by clubbing the up‐to‐date earthquake data and seismotectonic properties of the study area. Twenty‐one areal seismic sources are delineated based on the updated earthquake catalog, tectonic, and fault plane solutions.
