Topics on the Ratliff-Rush Closure of an Ideal

open access: yesپژوهش‌های ریاضی, 2019
Introduction Let  be a Noetherian ring with unity and    be a regular ideal of , that is,  contains a nonzerodivisor. Let . Then . The :union: of this family, , is an interesting ideal first studied by Ratliff and Rush in [15].

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Going down in (semi)lattices of finite Moore families and convex geometries [PDF]

open access: yes
In this paper we first study the changes occuring in the posets of irreducible elements when one goes from an arbitrary Moore family (respectively, a convex geometry) to one of its lower covers in the lattice of all Moore families (respectively, in the ...

Mito y vanguardia en Los detectives salvajes de Roberto Bolaño

open access: yesConfluenze, 2015
This article aims to address the disappearance and the specific closure of myth as metaphysical background in Los Detectives Salvajes by Roberto Bolaño; this closure is represented in the novel by the avant-garde poet Cesárea Tinajero, a character that ...

Cell‐cycle‐specific lesion evolution rather than inhibition of double‐strand‐break repair underpins cisplatin radiosensitization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

Adaptor protein CIN85 potentiates the motility of osteosarcoma cells via the Akt/mTOR and MMP2‐COL3A1 axis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CIN85 is highly expressed in osteosarcoma, particularly in metastatic lesions. Its overexpression increases cell migration and Matrigel invasion, while silencing CIN85 suppresses these behaviors. Transcriptome analysis shows that CIN85 regulates MMP2, COL3A1, and Akt/mTOR signaling. Targeting these pathways reverses CIN85‐induced motility, highlighting

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Closure Properties of GapP and #P

open access: yes, 1995
We classify the univariate functions that are relativizable closure properties of GapP, solving a problem posed by Hertrampf, Vollmer, and Wagner (Structures '95).

Proteasome inhibitor, ixazomib prevents topoisomerase‐I degradation and reverses irinotecan resistance in colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Ixazomib inhibits proteasome‐mediated degradation of topoisomerase I induced by irinotecan, thereby restoring drug sensitivity and promoting tumor cell death in colorectal cancer. Irinotecan, a topoisomerase I (topoI) inhibitor, is widely used for colorectal cancer, but resistance remains a major clinical challenge.

Impacts of area closure on selected soil physicochemical properties at Meldam watershed, Sekota area, North Western Ethiopia

open access: yesDiscover Environment
Area closure, by excluding human and animal interference, has proven to be an effective conservation strategy that facilitates natural regeneration, improves soil health, and enhances ecosystem resilience in degraded landscapes.
