Initial L-fuzzy closure spaces

Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 2003
The author introduces the notion of \(L\)-fuzzy closure spaces as a generalization of already known \([0,1]\)-fuzzy closure spaces. The author presents many interesting results on topological category. The paper is a useful contribution to fuzzy topology.

Closure Spaces and Matroids

2000
Let G be a projective geometry. The associated closure operator C : P(G) → P(G) sends a subset A ⊆ G to the smallest subspace of G which contains A. Given two points a, b ∈ G one has C({a,b}) = a ⋆ b. Hence the closure operator C gives much more information than the operator ⋆ does, and it is therefore not surprising that a projective geometry can be ...

Closure Spaces in the Plane

1999
When closure operators are defined over figures in the plane, they are normally defined with respect to convex closure in the Euclidean plane. This report concentrates on discrete closure operators defined over the discrete, rectilinear plane. Basic to geometric convexity is the concept of a geodesic, or shortest path.
