Clothing manipulation

ACM Transactions on Graphics, 2002
This paper presents interaction techniques (and the underlying implementations) for putting clothes on a 3D character and manipulating them. The user paints freeform marks on the clothes and corresponding marks on the 3D character; the system then puts the clothes around the body so that corresponding marks match.

Vi-cloth (Virtual-clothing)

2004

Cloth Motion Capture

Computer Graphics Forum, 2003
Abstract Recent years have seen an increased interest in motion capture systems. Current systems, however, are limitedto only a few degrees of freedom, so that effectively only the motion of linked rigid bodies can be acquired. Wepresent a system for the capture of deformable surfaces, most notably moving cloth, including both geometry ...

A Virtual Cloth Manipulation System for Clothing Design

2015
We have been studied virtualization of draping which is one of a design method for clothing. It is desirable to adopt a man-machine interface in the same way as the real world for virtual draping. For this purpose, motion of hand is detected by Leap Motion as a sensor.
