Targeted Delivery of α‐ketoglutarate to Macrophages in Bone: A Novel Therapeutic Strategy for Improving Fracture Healing in Type 2 Diabetes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The study reveals that glutaminolysis in macrophages is inhibited under type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) conditions, which impedes fracture healing by reducing bone morphogenetic protein 2 (BMP2) production through increased cytosine methylation on the promoter.

Tetrahedral Nitrogen Atoms Arrangement in A‐Site Cations: A New Approach for Regulating Sensitivity and Energy of Perovskite Energetic Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The urotropine is selected as the A‐site cation in PEMs, and four urotropine‐based PEMs ([C6H14N4][M(ClO4)3]) are successfully prepared. Compared with the cubic PEMs, the crystal structure of the urotropine‐based PEMs has an expansion along the c‐axis.

An Off‐the‐Shelf Artificial Proregenerative Macrophage for Pressure Ulcer Treatment

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Artificial macrophages (artM) by encapsulating M2 lysates into biodegradable PLGA microspheres and coated with macrophage membrane, are engineered as new therapeutics against skin pressure ulcer. In mouse models, the artM exhibited robust tissue repair through cell recruitment and microenvironment modulation, showing great therapeutic potential for ...

Mechanisms of Baicalin Alleviates Intestinal Inflammation: Role of M1 Macrophage Polarization and Lactobacillus amylovorus

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Baicalin alleviates E. coli‐induced intestinal inflammation through dual mechanisms: direct inhibition of the TLR4/IRF/STAT signaling pathway to modulate macrophage polarization and antigen presentation, thereby regulating Th17/Treg cell differentiation; and microbiota‐mediated indirect effects via increasing Lactobacillus amylovorus abundance and ...
