A Robust Dual‐mode Self‐Monitoring Battery Thermal Management System via Bilayer Structural Design
An adaptive dual‐mode material capable of both evaporative cooling and photothermal preheating is developed. It achieves a cooling efficiency of 53.9%, surpassing existing evaporative cooling counterparts, and a self‐monitoring capability, making it ideal for electric vehicles, portable electronics, and grid‐scale energy storage.

Stability relationship for water droplet crystallization with the NASA Lewis icing spray [PDF]
In order to produce small droplets for icing cloud simulation, high pressure air atomizing nozzles are used. For certain icing testing applications, median drop sizes as small as 5 mm are needed, which require air atomizing pressures greater than 3000 ...

A novel descriptor and a bottom‐up design principle are established to enable the rational design of hydrogen storage materials based on d‐block transition metal single‐atom COFs. By modulating H₂ adsorption through d‐orbital tuning, this approach achieves both high storage capacity and fast kinetics, while revealing a volcano‐type relationship between
