Cinnamic‐Hydroxamic‐Acid Derivatives Exhibit Antibiotic, Anti‐Biofilm, and Supercoiling Relaxation Properties by Targeting Bacterial Nucleoid‐Associated Protein HU

Cinnamic‐hydroxamic‐acid derivatives (CHADs) are identified as novel inhibitors of the bacterial nucleoid‐associated protein HU, exhibiting potent antibacterial, anti‐biofilm (both inhibition and eradication), and DNA relaxation (anti‐supercoiling) activities. Moreover, CHADs demonstrate strong synergistic effects with multiple antibiotics.

A Systemic Selective Modified mRNA Delivery Platform for Preventing Chemotherapy‐Induced Cardiotoxicity

In Yoo and Mainkar et al., we present a minimally invasive, CM‐selective modRNA delivery system encapsulated in lipid nanoparticles for intravenous (IV) administration. Intercellular Horizontal Transfer of TXNDC5 mRNA via Extracellular Vesicles Contributes to Tumor‐Associated Macrophage‐Mediated Prostate Cancer Metastasis

This study investigates the role of M2 macrophage‐derived extracellular vesicles (M2 EVs) in prostate cancer (PCa) metastasis. Mechanistically, M2 EVs horizontally transfer TXNDC5 mRNA to PCa cells, where the molecule induces the mesenchymal‐like state (MLS), enhancing PCa migration and invasion.
