Statistics of Titan's South Polar Tropospheric Clouds [PDF]
We present the first long-term study of the behavior of the sporadically observed tropospheric clouds recently discovered near Titan's south pole. We find that one or more small individual cloud systems is present in the 70°-80° south region during every

The role of convection, overshoot, and gravity waves for the transport of dust in M dwarf and brown dwarf atmospheres [PDF]
Observationally, spectra of brown dwarfs indicate the presence of dust in their atmospheres while theoretically it is not clear what prevents the dust from settling and disappearing from the regions of spectrum formation.

Hydrogel Thermostat Inspired by Photoprotective Foliage Using Latent and Radiative Heat Control
Guided by Populus alba foliage, this hydrogel latent‐radiative thermostat (LRT) actively balances latent and radiative heat fluxes. An LRT switches solar reflectance, maintains high mid‐IR emissivity, and reversibly evaporates/regenerates water, while titanium oxide (TiO2) nanoparticles toughen the film.

Correction of "Cloud Removal By Fusing Multi-Source and Multi-Temporal Images"
Remote sensing images often suffer from cloud cover. Cloud removal is required in many applications of remote sensing images. Multitemporal-based methods are popular and effective to cope with thick clouds.

Detection of water at z = 0.685 towards B0218+357 [PDF]
We report the detection of the H_2O molecule in absorption at a redshift z = 0.68466 in front of the gravitationally lensed quasar B0218+357. We detect the fundamental transition of ortho-water at 556.93 GHz (redshifted to 330.59 GHz). The line is highly

6.7 GHz methanol absorption toward the Seyfert 2 galaxy NGC 3079
The detection of the 6.7 GHz line of methanol (CH3OH) is reported for the first time toward an object beyond the Magellanic Clouds. Using the Effelsberg 100 m telescope, two absorption features were identified toward the Seyfert 2 galaxy NGC 3079.

Merging materials processing tricks inspired by mussel and mistletoe fiber fabrication, solutions of cationic mussel byssus proteins were mixed with modified anionic nanocrystalline cellulose, producing distinctive core‐shell condensates. Simple processing of condensate suspensions using freeze‐drying produced hierarchically structured porous protein ...
