Description of pistillate flowers and conservation status of two species of Mollinedia (Monimiaceae, Laurales) from the Brazilian Atlantic forest

open access: yesNordic Journal of Botany, Volume 2025, Issue 10, October 2025.
Mollinedia is one of the richest genera of Monimiaceae, with approximately 60 species. In Brazil, 46 species of the genus occur, most of them in the Atlantic Forest. Mollinedia dolichotricha and Mollinedia ruschii are species endemic to the Atlantic Forest and described in the last decade.

Flexible and Sustainable PLA/PBAT‐g‐GMA Nanocomposites Based on Carbon Nanotubes With Potential for Electrostatic Control

open access: yesPolymers for Advanced Technologies, Volume 36, Issue 10, October 2025.
ABSTRACT Flexible and conductive polymeric nanocomposites with a greater sustainable footprint are on the rise, targeting applications in the electronics sector. This study investigated the production of sustainable nanocomposites based on poly(lactic acid) (PLA) and glycidyl methacrylate‐functionalized poly(butylene adipate‐co‐terephthalate) (PBAT‐g ...

Accurate Spectral Fitting in the Upper F‐Region Using the Randomly Coded Data of the Arecibo 430 MHz Radar

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Space Physics, Volume 130, Issue 10, October 2025.
Abstract Accurately resolving the ion composition in the upper F2 region and topside ionosphere remains a challenge due to temperature‐composition ambiguity and measurement limitations. This study presents a hybrid fitting algorithm that combines exhaustive dictionary search with gradient descent to improve the estimation of incoherent scatter spectrum
