Aza‐Diphosphazenanes: Inorganic Cyclohexane‐like Connectors with Stereochemically Tunable Exit Vectors for Molecular and Macromolecular Chemistry

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 137, Issue 21, May 19, 2025.
New aza‐diphosphinanes have been prepared and a model has been developed to explain their cis/trans isomerization. Two‐fold oxidation leads to new aza‐diphosphazenanes as robust inorganic connectors with selectable stereochemistry. Polycondensation reactions results in the first inorganic cyclo‐linear polyphosphazenes which have high‐molecular weights ...

Legislation and Current Practices Concerning Risk Assessment of Skin Sensitizers in the European Union: A Comparative and Survey Study

open access: yesContact Dermatitis, Volume 92, Issue 6, Page 446-459, June 2025.
Through an analysis of EU legislation and questionaries distributed to expert and stakeholders, this paper investigates the legislation and risk assessment process in EU concerning skin sensitizers. Approximately 40% of the participants found the current protection insufficient and multiple areas of improvement were identified and discussed.

Volumetric Assessment of Resorption Patterns of Bilateral Alveolar Clefts in Cone‐Beam Computed Tomography in Two‐ Stage Bone Graft

open access: yesOrthodontics &Craniofacial Research, Volume 28, Issue 3, Page 527-533, June 2025.
ABSTRACT Objective Few studies have analysed the outcome of bone grafts in bilateral alveolar clefts and the bone fill with a two‐step surgery method. The currently applied three‐dimensional method used in this study enables a comprehensive description of the bone fill of bilateral clefts after bone grafting.

Development of a Peptide Inhibitor Targeting the C‐SH2 Domain of the SHP2 Phosphatase

open access: yesChemBioChem, Volume 26, Issue 10, May 27, 2025.
A peptide inhibitor targeting the Src homology 2 (SH2) domain‐containing phosphatase 2 (SHP2) has been developed that binds to and blocks the C‐SH2 domain. The C‐SH2 inhibitor peptide is stable, selective, cell permeable, and noncytotoxic making it an enabling chemical tool to study SHP2 in cells.
