Clinical laboratory and dispersion pattern of COVID-19 in a family cluster in the social-distancing period

open access: yesJournal of Infection in Developing Countries, 2020
Introduction: Since the first reports of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in December 2019, the disease has spread worldwide. Different social isolation strategies have been adopted to reduce community transmission, but few studies have evaluated the

Cluster–cluster aggregation with mobile impurities [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Sol-Gel Science and Technology, 2019
We considered the diffusion-limited cluster–cluster aggregation (DLCA) model in the presence of inert template (mobile impurities) for the simulation of mesoporous materials obtained through sol–gel processes. A computer algorithm based on the off-lattice version of the two-dimensional DLCA model with moving impurities is introduced.

Intracochlear Recording of Electrocochleography During and After Cochlear Implant Insertion Dependent on the Location in the Cochlea

open access: yesTrends in Hearing
To preserve residual hearing during cochlear implant (CI) surgery it is desirable to use intraoperative monitoring of inner ear function (cochlear monitoring). A promising method is electrocochleography (ECochG). Within this project the relations between

Upgrading Mechanisms of Managing Social and Economic Development of Tourism on Regional Level

open access: yesВестник Российского экономического университета имени Г. В. Плеханова, 2020
Mechanisms of developing tourism on the regional level are numerous and they can be systematized by different characteristics. However, it is better to give a general view of the system of such mechanisms through classical management functions that ...

Clustering and Community Detection With Imbalanced Clusters

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Signal and Information Processing over Networks, 2017
Spectral clustering methods which are frequently used in clustering and community detection applications are sensitive to the specific graph constructions particularly when imbalanced clusters are present. We show that ratio cut (RCut) or normalized cut (NCut) objectives are not tailored to imbalanced cluster sizes since they tend to emphasize cut ...

Exploring fluoropolymers for fabrication of femtoliter chamber arrays used in digital bioanalysis

open access: yesScientific Reports
The global supply of fluoropolymers and fluorinated solvents is decreasing due to environmental concerns regarding polyfluoroalkyl substances. CYTOP has been used for decades primarily as a component of a femtoliter chamber array for digital bioanalysis;
