A Depolarizing Leak in Sodium Bicarbonate Cotransporter NBCe1 Causes Brain Edema
ABSTRACT Objectives SLC4A4 encodes electrogenic sodium bicarbonate cotransporter NBCe1, prominently expressed in kidney and brain. Recessive loss‐of‐function variants in SLC4A4 cause proximal renal tubular acidosis, no brain edema. In the brain, NBCe1 is expressed by astrocytes, where it regulates pH and mediates astrocyte volume changes.

A ROBUST CLUSTER HEAD SELECTION BASED ON NEIGHBORHOOD CONTRIBUTION AND AVERAGE MINIMUM POWER FOR MANETs [PDF]
Mobile Adhoc network is an instantaneous wireless network that is dynamic in nature. It supports single hop and multihop communication. In this infrastructure less network, clustering is a significant model to maintain the topology of the network.

Early Science with the Karoo Array Telescope: a Mini-Halo Candidate in Galaxy Cluster Abell 3667
Abell 3667 is among the most well-studied galaxy clusters in the Southern Hemisphere. It is known to host two giant radio relics and a head-tail radio galaxy as the brightest cluster galaxy.

Predictive Ability of Plasma p‐tau217 for β‐Amyloid Status: A Prospective Multicenter Study
ABSTRACT Objective Plasma tau phosphorylated at threonine 217 (p‐tau217) measured with fully automated platforms has shown high accuracy for Alzheimer's disease (AD) diagnosis, but real‐world multicenter data remain limited. We aimed to validate the diagnostic performance of p‐tau217 for identifying AD pathology in a real‐world multicenter cohort ...

Dynamic Cluster Head Node Election (DCHNE) Model over Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) [PDF]
WSNs are becoming an appealing research area due to their several application domains. The performance of WSNs depends on the topology of sensors and their ability to adapt to changes in the network.

XMM-Newton Observation of IC 310 in the Outer Region of the Perseus Cluster of Galaxies
We present results from an XMM-Newton observation of the head-tail radio galaxy IC 310 located in the southwest region of the Perseus cluster. The spectrum is well-fitted by an absorbed power-law model with a photon index of $2.50 \pm 0.02$ with no ...

ABSTRACT Background and Purpose White matter hyperintensities (WMH) are a core neuroimaging marker of cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD). Sleep apnoea (SA) is a recognized vascular risk factor, but its associations with regional WMH burden, short‐interval WMH change and cognitive performance in population‐based cohorts remain incompletely defined. We
