Cluster headache is an excruciating, strictly one-sided pain syndrome with attacks that last between 15 minutes and 180 minutes and that are accompanied by marked ipsilateral cranial autonomic symptoms, such as lacrimation and conjunctival injection. The pain is so severe that female patients describe each attack as worse than childbirth.

From Ensemble Clustering to Subspace Clustering: Cluster Structure Encoding
IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, 2023In this study, we propose a novel algorithm to encode the cluster structure by incorporating ensemble clustering (EC) into subspace clustering (SC). First, the low-rank representation (LRR) is learned from a higher order data relationship induced by ensemble K-means coding, which exploits the cluster structure in a co-association matrix of basic ...

Abstract An algorithm for the clustering of existing clusters is introduced in this paper. The algorithm was adopted from fuzzy-c-mean and modifications made to take into account the extra information, i.e. some data samples already form clusters. Partition coefficients, together with some other criteria, are used for testing cluster validity.

EXTRACEPHALIC CLUSTER (CLUSTER SINE HEADACHE)
Neurology, 2008A 67-year-old woman presented to the emergency department with left sided chest tightness and left arm pain with paresthesia. Over the past 6 years, she had a circannual pattern of stereotyped attacks occurring predictably during the winter solstice, lasting approximately 6 weeks.

Dynamic cluster-size distribution in cluster-cluster aggregation: Effects of cluster diffusivity
Physical Review B, 1985The dynamics of the diffusion-limited model of cluster-cluster aggregation is investigated in two and three dimensions by studying the temporal evolution of the cluster-size distribution ${n}_{s}$(t), which is the number of clusters of size s at time t.

Cluster headache and cluster variants
Current Treatment Options in Neurology, 2003Patients must be cognizant of the time course of the cluster headache periods to optimally tailor their therapy. Steroids provide the fastest onset of prophylactic effect. Once steroids are initiated, it remains difficult to wean patients off of them, and that is why it is always recommended to associate another prophylactic agent from the onset with ...

In this chapter, we shall show several spatial point patterns in a hypothetical area of a square 10 km on each side to understand what “clustering” or “a cluster” means and to get a basic idea of how to approach detection of clustering or clusters.
