Opposite Elements in Clutters [PDF]
Let E be a finite set of elements, and let L be a clutter over ground set E. We say distinct elements e, f are opposite if every member and every minimal cover of L contains at most one of e, f. In this paper, we investigate opposite elements and reveal a rich theory underlying such a seemingly simple restriction.

Deep Learning-Based Rebar Clutters Removal and Defect Echoes Enhancement in GPR Images
The clutters of rebar in the ground penetrating radar (GPR) images may mask the echoes of the inner defects under the rebars, which adversely affects the identification of the inner structural defects in the reinforced concrete (RC).

Reinforcement Learning-Based Data Association for Multiple Target Tracking in Clutter [PDF]
Data association is a crucial component of multiple target tracking, in which each measurement obtained by the sensor can be determined whether it belongs to the target.

In turbid water, target reflected lidar signal is easily buried in “clutter” due to scattering. We proposed an underwater laser ranging model applying an optical vortex in the receiver to separate the scattering clutter from the target ...

Noise radar range doppler imaging via 2D generalized smoothed‐l0
This paper presents an algorithm to enhance the range‐Doppler imaging performance for noise radar. Traditional matched filtering based method suffers from high range and Doppler sidelobes, which makes the weak targets overwhelmed by the sidelobes of ...

A Clutter-Resistant SLAM Algorithm for Autonomous Guided Vehicles in Dynamic Industrial Environment
In dynamic and complicated industrial environments, feature-based SLAM based on laser scanner is a popular choice to achieve localization of autonomous guided vehicles. However, there are many clutters and dynamic objects degrading SLAM performance. This
