Reproducibility of the CMAP scan
The CMAP scan is a surface EMG method based on the successive activation of motor units. It provides information about reinnervation processes, the number of functional motor units and nerve excitability. The CMAP scan has potential value as a follow-up tool in monitoring disease progression, recovery or aging of the peripheral nerves.

The compound muscle action potential (CMAP) scan is a useful technique for examination of neuromuscular disorders. The objective of this study is to develop a novel analysis of CMAP scans from the perspective of information theory.A novel index parameter called CMAP distribution index (CDIX) was developed to characterize CMAP scan based on calculation ...

The research issue of recommender systems has been treated as a classical regression problem over the decades and has obtained a great success. In the next generation of recommender systems, multi-criteria recommendation has been predicted as an important direction.

Installing and Configuring CMap
Current Protocols in Bioinformatics, 2007AbstractCMap is a Web‐based tool for viewing comparisons between biological maps of different types. It allows for correspondences to be displayed between maps as disparate as genetic and physical maps. The protocols in this unit comprise a guide to installing, configuring, and importing data into CMap.

Estimating motor unit numbers from a CMAP scan
Compound muscle action potential (CMAP) scans are detailed stimulus-response curves which provide information about motor unit properties in neuromuscular disorders. This study assessed a method of automatic motor unit number estimation (MUNE) from 5-min CMAP scans.A preliminary model, derived from the variance and slope of the scan, is refined to fit ...

Neurotransmission Recovery by Melatonin Measured by CMAP
2022Compound muscle action potential (CMAP) recordings provide a sensitive electromyographic approach to measure nerve conduction and assess neuromuscular junction functionality in humans and rodents. In humans, it represents a diagnostic tool for neuromuscular disorders.

Publisher Summary This chapter reviews that an important aspect of the electrodiagnostic examination is gathering information with respect to the functioning and structure of motor units (MUs). The methods that are routinely used for this purpose are nerve conduction studies and concentric needle electromyography.

This document specifies a Connection Management Access Protocol (CMAP) for call management in high-speed packet switched networks. We target CMAP to networks employing the Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) communication standard. CMAP specifies the access procedues exercised by network clients to manipulate multipoint calls; it is thus a User-Network ...

Revisiting the compound muscle action potential (CMAP)
The compound muscle action potential (CMAP) is among the first recorded waveforms in clinical neurography and one of the most common in clinical use. It is derived from the summated muscle fiber action potentials recorded from a surface electrode overlying the studied muscle following stimulation of the relevant motor nerve fibres innervating the ...
