CNC Oxyfuel gas cutting machine
Proceedings of the International Conference and Workshop on Emerging Trends in Technology, 2010In today's era of plasma and laser cutting, machines using oxy-acetylene flame are still meritorious due to simplicity and cost effectiveness. Demand for metal cutting with good quality as regarding to edge quality, circularity, formation of redeposit material is increasing, which was the objective to device the CNC Oxyfuel Gas cutting Machine.

An Educational Scheme for a CNC Drilling Machine
International Journal of Manufacturing, Materials, and Mechanical Engineering, 2012Computer numerical control (CNC) involves machines controlled by electronic systems designed to accept numerical data and other instructions, usually in a coded form. CNC machines are more productive than conventional equipment and consequently produce parts at less cost and higher accuracy even when the higher investment is considered.

Direct and immediate drawing with CNC machines
Proceedings of the 1st Annual ACM Symposium on Computational Fabrication, 2017We investigate how the immediate control of computer numerical control (CNC) machines can narrow the design-fabrication gap and combine manual art practice with digital fabrication. LINC (Live Interactive Numeric Control) is a sketch-based digital design tool for authoring 2D or 3D artworks in near-real time.

Comparison between SPIF with Robot and CNC Machine
Key Engineering Materials, 2011This paper deals with Incremental Sheet Forming (ISF) a sheet metal forming process that knew a wide development in the last years. A lot of experimental and simulative researches have been conducted in this field with different aims: to study the sheet formability and part feasibility; to define models able to forecast the final sheet thickness; to ...

Material machining (CNC milling machine)
2021Technologies are coming to the fore, so it's important to get to know them. Create your own design and have it done with the help of a CNC machine. Students will try to implement their own idea, from graphic design to a physical product. They will be able to better imagine what they can create thanks to the CNC machine and what pitfalls await them when

Vision-controlled CNC machines
Computing & Control Engineering Journal, 1993Laboratory tests have been conducted to explore the performance capability of a CNC machine process incorporating a vision inspection system. It has been demonstrated that the approach can be usefully applied to existing machines at relatively low cost. A proposal for a fully integrated control scheme is presented.

2009
The introduction of CNC machines has radically changed the manufacturing industry. Curves are as easy to cut as straight lines, complex 3-D structures are relatively easy to produce, and the number of machining steps that required human action has dramatically reduced.

Investigation into the calibration of CNC machines
2018The size of the global Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) market is expected to increase which will consequently increase the demand for MRO services. The Christchurch Engine Centre (CHCEC) will need to increase its capacity from 120 engines per year in 2018 to 150 engines per year in 2020 to meet this demand.
