CG and CNG methyltransferases in plants
Gene, 1995We have purified two distinct DNA methyltransferases from pea shoot tips and analysed their sequence specificity using synthetic oligodeoxyribonucleotide substrates and chemical sequencing methods. One methylates only CG target sequences, whereas the other methylates only CAG or CTG target sequences.

CNG channel-related retinitis pigmentosa
Vision Research, 2023The genes CNGA1 and CNGB1 encode the alpha and beta subunits of the rod CNG channel, a ligand-gated cation channel whose activity is controlled by cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP). Autosomal inherited mutations in either of the genes lead to a progressive rod-cone retinopathy known as retinitis pigmentosa (RP).

Performance and emission assessment of a multi-cylinder S.I engine using CNG & HCNG as fuels
International journal of hydrogen energy, 2019The present study was carried out to assess the possibility of using the HCNG in the commercially available CNG vehicles, as the available literature indicated the benefits of adding hydrogen to CNG in small percentages by volume, leading to improved ...
