Nanomechanics of CNTs for sensor application [PDF]
A nanoscopic simulation for an acceleration sensor is aimed based on the piezoresistive effect of carbon nanotubes (CNTs). Therefore, a compact model is built from density functional theory (DFT), compared with results of molecular dynamics (MD) that describes the mechanics of carbon nanotubes in a parameterized way.

Reduced Graphene Oxide Transparent Electrodes Enabling Compact Soft Tunable Lenses
By spray‐coating an elastomeric membrane with reduced graphene oxide (rGO) at various surface densities, elastomeric actuators are manufactured. Electro‐mechano‐optical characterizations show the suitability of rGO as an effective material for compliant, semi‐transparent electrodes, enabling soft electrically tunable lenses with a compact form factor ...

The Effects of Cryomilling CNTs on the Thermal and Electrical Properties of CNT/PMMA Composites [PDF]
In this study, the cryomilling of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) was carried out to accomplish better dispersion without using any hazardous chemicals. Accordingly, different samples of CNTs were prepared by varying the milling speed (10, 20, and 25 Hz) and time (5, 10, and 15 min) and incorporated into the poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) matrix. The changes
