A Novel PARAFAC Model for Processing the Nested Vector-Sensor Array
In this paper, a novel parallel factor (PARAFAC) model for processing the nested vector-sensor array is proposed. It is first shown that a nested vector-sensor array can be divided into multiple nested scalar-sensor subarrays.

Septin 9 polybasic domains couple phosphoinositide‐rich membrane binding to centrosome positioning, Golgi organization, and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity. Their loss disrupts this axis, causing centrosome mispositioning, Golgi fragmentation, reduced microtubule acetylation, and polarity inversion via upregulation of the ...

The Co3O4 nanowire@NiCo2O4 nanosheet hierarchical array was constructed on Ni foam using hydrothermal and annealing approaches in turn, from which a NiCo2O4 nanosheet could self-assemble on the Co3O4 nanowire.

COPRIME ARRAY PARAMETERS OPTIMIZATION FOR DOA ESTIMATION
Sparse array such as the coprime array is one of the most preferable sparse arrays for direction of arrival estimation due to its properties, like simplicity, capability of resolving more sources than the number of elements and resistance to mutual ...

Experiences with Co-array Fortran on Hardware Shared Memory Platforms [PDF]
When performing source-to-source compilation of Co-array Fortran (CAF) programs into SPMD Fortran 90 codes for shared-memory multiprocessors, there are several ways of representing and manipulating data at the Fortran 90 language level. We describe a set of implementation alternatives and evaluate their performance implications for CAF variants of the ...

The ubiquitin‐proteasome system and autophagy as guardians of the cellular proteome
This Perspective covers the three principles governing the crosstalk between the ubiquitin‐proteasome system and autophagy in cellular proteostasis: (1) a shared ubiquitin code routing substrates via shuttle factors or autophagy receptors; (2) spatial compartmentalization into phase‐separated degradation hubs and organelle‐specific modules (exemplified

Precise Age for the Binary HD 21278 in the Young α Persei Cluster
We present a study of the double-lined spectroscopic binary HD 21278 that contains one of the brightest main-sequence stars in the young α Persei open cluster. We analyzed new spectra and reanalyzed archived spectra to measure precise new radial velocity

An unexpected alternative interaction site for ethyl viologen was identified in formate dehydrogenase 1 from Methylorubrum extorquens. Combined mutagenesis, kinetic analysis, and docking revealed that aromatic residues near an iron–sulfur cluster enable flavin mononucleotide‐independent electron transfer, offering a framework for engineering improved ...

Sparse direction of arrival estimation of co-prime MIMO radar using sparse aperture completion
In this study, the authors consider the problem of direction of arrival (DOA) estimation in compressive sensing multiple-input and multiple-output (CS-MIMO) radars with co-prime receive arrays. A sparse aperture completion scheme is proposed to fill the ‘

We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...
