On Centered Co-circular Central Configurations of the n-Body Problem [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Dynamics and Differential Equations, 2018
We study the co-circular central configurations of the n-body problem for which the center of mass and the center of the common circle coincide. In particular, we prove that there are no central configurations of this type with all the masses equal except one.

The co-circular central configurations of the 5 body problem [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Dynamics and Differential Equations, 2015
Chenciner in 2001 asked: Is the regular n-gon with equal masses the unique central configuration such that all the bodies lie on a circle, and the center of mass coincides with the center of the circle? This question has a positive answer for n = 3. Hampton in 2003 proved that also this question has a positive answer for n = 4.

MATHEMATICAL MODELLING OF TEETH CONTACT IN PRECESSIONAL TRANSMISSION [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Engineering Science (Chişinău), 2019
The article deals with the development of the 2K-H precessional toothed gear with convex-concave contact of the teeth. The teeth flanks of the satellite are described in the circular arc, and the central wheels - with convex / concave profiles.

Four-body co-circular central configurations [PDF]

open access: yesNonlinearity, 2012
We classify the set of central configurations lying on a common circle in the Newtonian four-body problem. Using mutual distances as coordinates, we show that the set of four-body co-circular central configurations with positive masses is a two-dimensional surface, a graph over two of the exterior side-lengths.

On the Uniqueness of Co-circular Four Body Central Configurations

open access: yesArchive for Rational Mechanics and Analysis, 2021
We study central configurations lying on a common circle in the Newtonian four-body problem. Using a topological argument we prove that there is at most one co-circular central configuration for each cyclic ordering of the masses on the circle.

On the centered co-circular central configurations for the n-body problem

open access: yesJournal of Differential Equations, 2023
For the power-law potential $n$-body problem, we study a special kind of central configurations where all the masses lie on a circle and the center of mass coincides with the center of the circle. It is also called the centered co-circular central configuration. We get some symmetry results for such central configurations.

Chiral Star-Shaped [CoIII3LnIII] Clusters with Enantiopure Schiff Bases: Synthesis, Structure, and Magnetism

open access: yesMolecules
Two enantiomeric pairs of new 3d–4f heterometallic clusters have been synthesized from two enantiomer Schiff base derivatives: (R/S)-2-[(2-hydroxy-1-phenylethylimino)methyl] phenol (R-/S-H2L). The formulae of the series clusters are Co3Ln(R-L)6 (Ln = Dy (

Cascade Biorefinery of Furcellaria lumbricalis Macroalgae: Social Impacts and Integration into a Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment

open access: yesEnvironmental and Climate Technologies
The sustainable valorization of marine biomass is central to advancing a circular bioeconomy. This study delivers the first integrated Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment (LCSA) of a cascade biorefinery for the red macroalga Furcellaria lumbricalis ...
