Pectolytic enzymes co-immobilization on γ-alumina spheres via organophosphate compounds

Process Biochemistry, 1997
Abstract Endopectinlyase (EC 4.2.2.10), endopolygalacturonase (EC 3.2.1.15) and pectinesterase (EC 3.1.1.11) present in a commercial mixture were co-immobilized on γ-alumina spheres activated with organophosphate compounds. Staining of the alumina-enzyme complexes with a dye specific for protein showed that only the carrier external surface was ...

Artificial Enzyme Mimics for Catalysis and Double Natural Enzyme Co-immobilization

Applied Biochemistry and Biotechnology, 2013
This work presents a new chemiluminescent (CL) probe array assay. The new type CL probe array is based on enzyme mimics of Co3O4-SiO2 mesoporous nanocomposite material, which not only have an excellent catalytic effect on the luminol-H2O2 CL reaction in an alkaline medium but also can be used for the immobilization of enzymes.

[HeLa apoptosis induced by co-immobilized cytokines].

Sheng wu yi xue gong cheng xue za zhi = Journal of biomedical engineering = Shengwu yixue gongchengxue zazhi, 2010
IFN-gamma and TNF-alpha were co-coupled to the polystyrene cell culture plate by the photo-immobilization method. To investigate the synergistic effect of IFN-gamma and TNF-alpha on the HeLa cells, HeLa cells were treated with co-coupled cytokine or non-coupled cytokine in a time course in this study.

Continuous cider fermentation with co-immobilized yeast and Leuconostoc oenos cells

Enzyme and Microbial Technology, 2000
Ca-alginate matrix was used to co-immobilize Saccharomyces bayanus and Leuconostoc oenos in one integrated biocatalytic system in order to perform simultaneously alcoholic and malo-lactic fermentation of apple juice to produce cider, in a continuous packed bed bioreactor.

[Progress in co-immobilization of multiple enzymes].

Sheng wu gong cheng xue bao = Chinese journal of biotechnology, 2015
Enzyme immobilization is the core technology of biocatalysis. Over the past few decades, enzyme immobilization research mainly focused on single enzyme immobilization. In recent years, multi-enzyme immobilization attracts more and more attention as it could increase the local concentration of reaction and improve the reaction yield.

Co-immobilization of enoate reductase with a cofactor-recycling partner enzyme

Enzyme and Microbial Technology, 2018
Herein we established co-immobilized methods for enoate reductases (ERs) and glucose dehydrogenase (GDH), forming a cofactor regeneration system. In cross-linked enzyme aggregates (CLEAs), ammonium sulfate and oxidized dextran were selected as a precipitant and a cross-linker, respectively. In biomimetic immobilization (BI), ER-GDH-silica particles (ER-

Co‐immobilization of different enzyme activities to non‐woven polyester surfaces

Biotechnology and Bioengineering, 2006
AbstractCo‐immobilization was applied to combine complementary enzyme reactions. Therefore, trypsin was co‐immobilized together with both, lipase and α‐amylase, onto the surface of non‐woven polyester material. The progress of the immobilization reaction was directly monitored by investigating covalent fixation of the enzymes to the polyester flees ...

Simultaneous co-immobilization of glucose oxidase and catalase in their substrates

Applied Biochemistry and Microbiology, 2007
Glucose oxidase (GOD) and catalase (CAT) were simultaneously co-immobilized onto magnesium silicate (florisil) by covalent coupling. Glucose was added in immobilization mixture and hydrogen peroxide which is the substrate of CAT was produced in coupling mixture during immobilization time.

[Study on PVA-alginate co-immobilization of Xanthomonas ampelina TS206].

Wei sheng wu xue bao = Acta microbiologica Sinica, 2009
Ice nucleation activity and anti-leaking capability are both important technical parameters in INA (Ice nucleation active bactetia) bacteria immobilization which can be adopted on freezing concentrate. Both PVA and alginate are good medium for immobilization.

Recent progress in multienzymes co-immobilization and multienzyme system applications

Chemical Engineering Journal, 2019
Abstract Enzyme catalysis has been attracting increasing interest in the past twenty years. Nevertheless, most reports concerning enzyme catalysis have been carried out using single enzymes. Recent years, multiple enzyme cascade reactions have a significant role for the production of many compounds at an industrial level because they permit to ...
