Co-immobilization of amyloglucosidase and pullulanase for enhanced starch hydrolysis

Applied Microbiology and Biotechnology, 1990
Amyloglucosidase and pullulanase were co-immobilized using a hydrophilic polyurethane foam (Hypol® 2002). The combined amyloglucosidase and pullulanase activity of the immobilized enzyme was 32.2% ± 1.7% relative to the non-immobilized enzyme. The co-immobilized enzymes were capable of using a variety of glycogen and starch substrates.

Development of multifunctional biocatalyst colloids by co-immobilization of enzymes

2023
Az enzimek olyan biokatalizátorként működő fehérjék, amelyek növelik a biológiai rendszerekben lejátszódó kémiai reakciók sebességét. A természetben a sejtekben végbemenő szinte összes reakciót különféle enzimek együttműködése szabályozza, ugyanakkor ezeknek meghatározó szerepük van az ipari folyamatokban is.

Denitrification and methanogenesis in a co-immobilized mixed culture system

Water Research, 1995
Abstract A co-immobilized mixed culture system of denitrifying bacteria and methanogenic bacteria, obtained by entrapping two sorts of acclimated sludges in polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) gel beads, was developed. Denitrification and methanogenesis with methanol employed as a carbon substrate using the co-immobilized system were investigated under an anoxic

Co-Immobilization and Interaction of Heparin and Plasmin on Collageno-Elastic Tubes

Biomaterials, Artificial Cells and Artificial Organs, 1990
Heparin and plasmin were co-immobilized on collageno-elastic tubes (CETs) in order to develop a thromboresistant and fibrinolytic vascular prosthesis. The mutual interaction between heparin and plasmin both in the soluble and in the immobilized state was studied. The immobilization condition rendering maximum co-immobilized heparin and plasmin activity

Precision Engineering of the Co‐immobilization of Enzymes for Cascade Biocatalysis

Angewandte Chemie International Edition
Abstract The design and orderly layered co‐immobilization of multiple enzymes on resin particles remain challenging. In this study, the SpyTag/SpyCatcher binding pair was fused to the N‐terminus of an alcohol dehydrogenase (ADH) and an aldo‐keto reductase (AKR), respectively. A non‐canonical amino acid (ncAA),
