Are saving and investment co-integrated?

Economics Letters, 1988
Abstract The observation of a strong positive correlation between national saving and domestic investment rates calls into question the assumption of highly-mobile international capital. I re-examine the question of a high correlation by considering the time-series relationship between national saving and domestic investment rates in the U.S., using ...

A Silicon Co-Integrated Light Source Module

IEEE Photonics Technology Letters, 2017
A room temperature silicon co-integrated light source module was realized by using a selective area metal bonding method, which is able to evanescently couple the light from InGaAsP multi-quantum well laser diodes into silicon waveguide. The module consists of a four-wavelength InGaAsP-Si hybrid laser array and a $4\times1$ silicon multimode ...

DEVELOPMENT OF INDIA:A CO-INTEGRATION ANALYSIS [PDF]

open access: possibleRomanian Economic and Business Review, 2010
The function of planning in a predominantly market-driven economy has to be symptomatic, co-coordinative and authoritarian. That provides the good reason for India’s Planning Commission to engage in preparing development plans for the economy periodically even after liberalisation.

Bayesian Analysis of Co-Integrated Time Series

1992
Co-integration models have attained considerable interest over the past few years for modeling multivariate economic time series. One of the basic ideas behind these models is the reduction of non-stationary I (1) components of a vector AR process to a linear combination which is a stationary AR process.

Canonical decomposition and co-integration

1994

Liquidity and Profitability: A Co-Integration Study

Review of Pacific Basin Financial Markets and Policies, 2018
This paper examines the relationship between liquidity and profitability of the non-financial firms listed in Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) for the period of 1998–2013. Pedroni and Johansen co-integration results show that liquidity, profitability, firm size and long-term debt (LTD) have significant co-integration relationship in the long run.

Asymptotic Inference Theories on Co‐Integrated Regressions

1996
Abstract This chapter analyses co-integrated regressions. It considers the cases where Δxt is i.i.d without a drift, Δxt is still i.i.d. but has a deterministic drift, and Δxt is serially correlated. It discusses testing for co-integration, and co-integrated regression models’ assumption of some basic aspect of the co-integration space ...
