Validation of hybrid systems by co-simulation
1996This article describes the INSYDE3 methodology for the design of hybrid systems. This methodology covers the development life-cycle from initial requirements capture, through design and implementation, to validation. The validation of a hybrid system is achieved by co-simulating a formal description of the hybrid system.

A powerful HDL (Hardware description language) can be considered as sufficient input tool only until the full problem is recognized. HDL-co-simulation is, in such cases, used as a better solution. In this report, logic simulation is considered in the presence of existing language/simulator environment and VHDL predeveloped libraries.
