Simultaneous measurement of CO2 sorption and swelling of phosphate-based ionic liquid
The development of alternative CO2 capture solvents such as ionic liquids (ILs) and nanoparticle organic hybrid materials (NOHMs) have provided interesting options for CO2 capture.

Dry carbonate process for CO2 capture and storage: Integration with solar thermal power [PDF]
Capture and sequestration of CO2 released by conventional fossil fuel combustion is an urgent need to mitigate global warming. In this work, main CO2 capture and sequestration (CCS) systems are reviewed, with the focus on their integration with ...

Targeted modulation of IGFL2‐AS1 reveals its translational potential in cervical adenocarcinoma
Cervical adenocarcinoma patients face worse outcomes than squamous cell carcinoma counterparts despite similar treatment. The identification of IGFL2‐AS1's differential expression provides a molecular basis for distinguishing these histotypes, paving the way for personalized therapies and improved survival in vulnerable populations globally.

RIPK4 function interferes with melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis
RIPK4 promotes melanoma growth and spread. RIPK4 levels increase as skin lesions progress to melanoma. CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated deletion of RIPK4 causes melanoma cells to form less compact spheroids, reduces their migratory and invasive abilities and limits tumour growth and dissemination in mouse models.

CO2 capture and in-situ conversion to organic molecules
To address the CO2 accumulation in atmosphere, various initiatives have been proposed, among which CO2 capture and utilization (CCU) is regarded as an appealing strategy to reconcile carbon emission and resource utilization.

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

Homologous expression and purification of human HAX‐1 for structural studies
This research protocol provides detailed instructions for cloning, expressing, and purifying large quantities of the intrinsically disordered human HAX‐1 protein, N‐terminally fused to a cleavable superfolder GFP, from mammalian cells. HAX‐1 is predicted to undergo posttranslational modifications and to interact with membranes, various cellular ...
