Bioengineered Exosome‐Loaded Immunomodulatory Bioadhesive Spray Reverses Liver Fibrosis and Metabolic Dysfunction That Triggers Beneficial Gut‐Liver Crosstalk in Chronic Fatty Liver Disease

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Umbilical cord stem cell‐derived exosomes encapsulated in an immunomodulatory bioadhesive hydrogel spray enable localized therapy, sustained vesicle delivery, macrophage polarization, suppress systemic inflammation, and mitigate glucose and insulin homeostasis impairments in MAFLD.

Bound Water as a Reinforcing Element for Ultra‐Strong Polyacrylamide

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Rather than acting as a conventional plasticizer, bound water serves as a reinforcing element in polyacrylamide by constructing strong PAM–water–PAM hydrogen‐bond networks. This water‐mediated architecture delivers ultra‐high mechanical strength and exceptional flame resistance, redefining the role of water in polymer reinforcement.

Diastereomeric Monomers Enable Anion‐Exchange Membranes With Controlled Local Polymer Backbone Flexibility and High Conductivity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Stereochemistry enables control of ion‐exchange membrane properties via local backbone flexibility without altering the polymer composition. Syn‐enriched membranes show higher water uptake and improved water‐electrolysis performance, whereas anti‐enriched membranes exhibit higher hydration efficiency and improved mechanical properties.

Surfactant-stabilized CO2 foams for storage in saline aquifers: Interfacial performance and foam stability

open access: yesJournal of CO2 Utilization
Foam-assisted CO2 storage has the potential to enhance CO2 mobility control and improve storage security in saline aquifers. However, its effectiveness depends on the ability of surfactant formulations to stabilize CO2-brine interfaces under high ...

CO2-Foam Rheology Behavior under Reservoir Conditions

open access: yes, 2017
Super critical carbon dioxide (SC-CO2) flooding is one of the most important enhanced oil recovery (EOR) methods to recover oil from both sandstone and carbonate reservoirs. In many cases this process is handicapped, especially in thick reservoirs, by SC-

Vanadium Cation Exchange‐Driven Reconstruction of MOF‐Derived Cobalt Hydroxide Electrodes for Electrocatalysis and Energy Storage

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A room‐temperature vanadium cation exchange strategy is developed to achieve simultaneous structural reconstruction and electronic/defect modulation of ZIF‐67 on nickel foam. The resulting mesoporous V20–Co(OH)2 electrode exhibits superior OER activity with low overpotentials and enhanced lattice oxygen participation.

Modulating Calcium Homeostasis via a Biomimetic Scaffold to Rescue Diabetic Ischemic Wounds

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This strategy addresses impaired microcirculation and loss of extracellular matrix (ECM) guidance in diabetic wound healing. Musc@CP, a nanofibrous dressing combining an ECM‐mimetic chitosan‐pullulan scaffold with muscone, enhances perfusion by attenuating intracellular Ca2+ overload‐associated endothelial dysfunction.

Three dimensional porous Cu-Zn/Al foam monolithic catalyst for CO2 hydrogenation to methanol in microreactor

open access: yes, 2017
CO2 hydrogenation turns to be an attractive pathway of C1 conversion. For CO2 hydrogenation to methanol, a novel method was investigated for the preparation of layer structured Cu-Zn/Al foam monolithic catalyst integrated with microreactor.
