Numerically we study the five-dimensional dynamical system which describes a laser with saturable absorber. The bifurcation diagrams are plotted for the parameters corresponding to real CO2-laser with CO2 as the saturable absorber. The influence of external noise is investigated.

Longitudinally Excited CO2 Laser with Short Laser Pulse like TEA CO2 Laser
Journal of Infrared, Millimeter, and Terahertz Waves, 2009We have developed a longitudinally excited CO2 laser with a short laser pulse similar to that of TEA and Q-switched CO2 lasers.
