Lactylation‐Driven NUPR1 Promotes Immunosuppression of Tumor‐Infiltrating Macrophages in Hepatocellular Carcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Cai et al. report that tumor‐derived lactate induces NUPR1 expression via H3K18 lactylation, which can promote the pro‐tumor M2 macrophage polarization through ERK and JNK signaling pathways. Treatment with NUPR1 selective inhibitor sensitizes synergizes with anti‐PD‐1 therapy in murine preclinical models.

Reprogramming Lung Redox Homeostasis by NIR Driven Ultra‐Small Pd Loaded Covalent Organic Framework Inhibits NF‐κB Pathway for Acute Lung Injury Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 14, April 10, 2025.
The strategy of ultra‐small Pd loaded covalent organic framework combined with NIR irradiation (TP@Pd+NIR) is developed to reprogram lung redox homeostasis for the synergistic enhancement of acute lung injury immunotherapy via ROS scavenging, M2 directional polarization, NF‐κB pathway inhibition as well as tissue repair acceleration.

Extreme Tolerance of Nanoparticle‐Protein Corona to Ultra‐High Abundance Proteins Enhances the Depth of Serum Proteomics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 11, March 20, 2025.
The intrinsic tolerance of NPC to ultra‐high abundance plays an important role in serum NPC formation for enhanced proteomic depth, validated through spike‐in protein assay. The NPC formation is the result of a balance of protein binding affinity, concentration, and protein‐protein interactions.
