A Study on Release Law of Arsenic in Coal and Coal Gangue
Advanced Materials Research, 2013The release characteristics of arsenic in coal and coal gangue was discussed in this paper. At firsrt, Coal and coal gangue were sampled in the study area, determination of the arsenic content and sulfur content in the coal. Then the occurrence of the arsenic was analyzed in coal by chemical extraction experiment , the characteristics of mineral ...

Identification and Activation of Coal Gangue and Performance of Limestone Calcined Gangue Cement
2020Gangue, a typical waste associated with the coal mining process in northern China, was characterized before and after thermal treatment by XRF, XRD, TGA-DSC, and SEM. The pozzolanic reactivity of calcined gangue with different calcined temperature was tested by standard mortar strength and R3 calorimetry test.

Preparation of Coal Gangue Cement Mortar
Advanced Materials Research, 2013Many researches on coal gangue are aimed at increasing its activity by many methods together such as thermal, mechanical and chemical. The methods are so complex that they are difficult to be adopted by some companies. In this paper, considering the low-strength requirement of cement mortar, the activity of coal gangue is more evidently shown by Ca(OH ...

Direct-impact of sieving coal and gangue
Mining Science and Technology (China), 2010Abstract Gangue from underground separation of coal can directly be used for filling mined out areas, saving transport capacity and reducing the amount of waste polluting the environment above the ground. We introduced a structure and operating principle of an underground direct-impact sieving device by which a separation experiment was carried out ...

Performance of cemented coal gangue backfill
Journal of Central South University of Technology, 2007Possibility of cemented gangue backfill was studied with gangue of Suncun Coal Mine, Xinwen Coal Group, Shandong, and fly ash of nearby thermal power plant, in order to treat enormous coal gangue on a large scale and to recovery safety coal pillars. The results indicate that coal gangue is not an ideal aggregate for pipeline gravity flow backfill, but ...

Utilization of coal gangue for the production of brick
Journal of Material Cycles and Waste Management, 2016Coal gangue, an industrial solid waste discarded from coal mining and processing, was used as the sole raw material to prepare brick. The coal gangue was crushed, homogenized, milled and then pressed into green compacts. The dried compacts were sintered at different temperatures for 2 h.
