The Unexpected Discovery of Paleocene? Coals in Outcrops Thought to Be Cambrian, Al Huqf, Oman
ABSTRACT Two brown organic deposits were encountered whilst investigating kaolinitic claystones thought to occur at the base of a Cambrian formation at outcrop. The age of these organic deposits is probably Paleocene from palynology. Organic petrography shows that they are subbituminous coals with some oil source potential.

Coalition Breakdown and Subsystem Exit
ABSTRACT Why actors choose to work together (or not) to advance policy has been the central area of inquiry within the Advocacy Coalition Framework (ACF). Assessing working lands as habitat for disturbance‐dependent birds using autonomous recording units
Abstract Introduction Working lands can provide habitat for declining disturbance‐dependent birds, such as Bachman's Sparrow (Peucaea aestivalis) and Northern Bobwhite (Colinus virginianus), but it remains unclear whether restoration following intensive land use (e.g. surface mining) yields habitat comparable to less intensive land uses (e.g.
