A kinetic model for conventional flotation of coal [PDF]
"The U.S. Bureau of Mines has developed a computer model to describe a flotation process. Coal data from conventional flotation has been converted to a simple two-parameter kinetic model developed by Reuter and van Deventer.

Research on fine coal classified flotation process and key technology
In an attempt to resolve the problem of poor clean coal quality and low ash content of tailing in the mixed flotation technology, factors affecting flotation performance were studied by orthogonal experiments, sieve analysis, progressive release ...

Divergent roles of ent‐kaurene oxidase paralogs in rice momilactone biosynthesis
Rice contains a five‐gene tandem array of genes encoding members of the ent‐kaurene oxidase (KO) family, with OsKOL4 and OsKOL5 playing divergent roles in momilactone metabolism, but both acting in the production of antifungal and antibacterial phytoalexins, which are important for disease resistance.

A Comprehensive Revisit to the Safe‐Haven Assets Literature
ABSTRACT A large number of studies examine the safe‐haven characteristics of different asset classes. However, this paper addresses a lack of systematic literature reviews and bibliometric analyses with a sound theoretical viewpoint the safe‐haven assets literature by focusing on 1305 studies published in top‐tier journals during 2013–2026 from the ...

The Unexpected Discovery of Paleocene? Coals in Outcrops Thought to Be Cambrian, Al Huqf, Oman
ABSTRACT Two brown organic deposits were encountered whilst investigating kaolinitic claystones thought to occur at the base of a Cambrian formation at outcrop. The age of these organic deposits is probably Paleocene from palynology. Organic petrography shows that they are subbituminous coals with some oil source potential.

Flotation of Low Volatile Coking Coal Fines
Low volatile coking (LVC) coal reserves have become the key for sustaining the coking coal production in India. Because of high ash content and difficult washability characteristics coking coal in India is usually cleaned at 16-18% ash content. To obtain

The Importance of Tire Wear Particles for Atmospheric Ice Nucleation
Abstract Tire wear particles (TWPs) are prevalent microplastic particles in the atmosphere and pose significant environmental and health risks to humans. Here, we investigated the ice nucleation activity (INA) of TWPs under mixed‐phase cloud conditions (∼−20.0°C < T < −5.0°C) and its changes caused by different environmental exposures, including UV and
