Coal and Coal Gangue Separation Based on Computer Vision
2010 Fifth International Conference on Frontier of Computer Science and Technology, 2010We consider the problem of automatically separating coal and coal gangue based on computer vision and design a coal and coal gangue separation system framework based on video. Grayscale histogram, fractal dimension and energy value are extracted as ore features.

Performance of cemented coal gangue backfill
Journal of Central South University of Technology, 2007Possibility of cemented gangue backfill was studied with gangue of Suncun Coal Mine, Xinwen Coal Group, Shandong, and fly ash of nearby thermal power plant, in order to treat enormous coal gangue on a large scale and to recovery safety coal pillars. The results indicate that coal gangue is not an ideal aggregate for pipeline gravity flow backfill, but ...

Progress of Coal Gangue Research
2011China is carrying out a large-scale energy bases in the early stages. Historical experience shows that a large number of coal gangue will be produce in the development of coal process. The coal gangue will occur environmental pollution when the improper disposal.

Thermal decomposition of selected coal gangue
Journal of Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry, 2017The thermal behavior of two mineral-type coal gangues under different temperature conditions was investigated by heating treatment of kaolinite-type coal gangue and illite-type coal gangue based on thermal analysis, X-ray diffraction (XRD), infrared spectroscopy (IR) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).

Preparation of Coal Gangue Cement Mortar
Advanced Materials Research, 2013Many researches on coal gangue are aimed at increasing its activity by many methods together such as thermal, mechanical and chemical. The methods are so complex that they are difficult to be adopted by some companies. In this paper, considering the low-strength requirement of cement mortar, the activity of coal gangue is more evidently shown by Ca(OH ...

Direct-impact of sieving coal and gangue
Mining Science and Technology (China), 2010Abstract Gangue from underground separation of coal can directly be used for filling mined out areas, saving transport capacity and reducing the amount of waste polluting the environment above the ground. We introduced a structure and operating principle of an underground direct-impact sieving device by which a separation experiment was carried out ...

Environmental Science and Pollution Research, 2023
The study herein was intended to evaluate the rheological properties of cemented gangue backfill material (CGBM). For this purpose, the rheological test of CGBM with fractal aggregate particle size distribution was carried out, and variations of static yield stress, dynamic yield stress, and plastic viscosity were investigated as a function of fractal ...

Analysis of Coal Gangue Pollution Control Technology
Advanced Materials Research, 2013In this paper, we discussed the gangue on the mining area that have bad economic and environmental impact. It has been shown that the coal gangue accumulation could seriously prevent the regional ecological and economic sustainable development. Pollution control technology is the key to solve this problem.

Characterization of Heavy Metals from Coal Gangue
2020Coal gangue, a residue obtained during the coal mining process, accounts for 10–15% of raw coal produced. Usually, this coal gangue is transported and stacked loosely in the nearby areas. Long term piling up of this mine waste can volatilize large amounts of potentially toxic heavy metals which have the ability to infiltrate surrounding ecosystems.

Heavy Metals Distribution Pattern in Coal Gangue
2009 3rd International Conference on Bioinformatics and Biomedical Engineering, 2009For assessment on heavy metals environmental security in coal gangue, coal gangue samples were collected from Xinwen mineral area which lay in Shandong Province of China. Tessier extractive experiments were carried out to check the heavy metals' chemical species.
